I may have been napping, which is more likely.

I am thinking you perparing for the hurricane. I trust you are far enough inland to avoid the worst of it. I was lying down on my bed to watch something on tv when all of a sudden I felt the bed sway back and forth for about 30 seconds. It actually made me feel a bit dizzy!! Turned on the radio a bit later and they were saying that we'd just experienced tremors from a quake that centered on the east coast of the US. Scary stuff!! Today we have a tornado warning in effect and the sky is getting really black as I type this...let's hope it's just a bad storm and nothing more dire! Not used to tornadoes around here.

I can understand how you love having the farm to yourself at times:-) Love you xoxoxCarole Buranthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05497329055251626140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1965330329243893736.post-83763830584856740892011-08-23T23:34:37.729-04:002011-08-23T23:34:37.729-04:00Kinda scary, isn't it, Peggy? You still may get some rain --but hopefully no heavy winds.. We need rain so much--and there's just no chance of it much this week here. We watered everything yesterday and I'm sure we'll do the same on Friday... We haven't had any measurable rain since June here.

Love hearing about your farm chores --and your animals. They are so lucky to have you and William. Hope William and his son-in-law get the roof work finished before the storm.
Hugs,
BetsyBetsy Banks Adamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16223591156634767330noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1965330329243893736.post-52518066207927072352011-08-23T21:26:51.045-04:002011-08-23T21:26:51.045-04:00Hi Peggy, I always enjoy my visits to your blog. ...Hi Peggy, I always enjoy my visits to your blog.
