A couple in their 60's, a 1940's army building turned into a 3 bedroom cottage, 2.5 acres, vegetable and herbal gardens, goats, chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits, Great Pyrenees, rescue dogs and cats, living as simple and frugal as possible. That is what you will find written about here. Thank you for stopping by. Share anything you like and ask any questions you wish!
Woo Hoo it's fall in NC! I got home from work last night and Ted had a fire in the wood stove in the kitchen and the logs going in the living room. Mmmmmmmmm.
Such cozy photos, Peggy. I had the best time under clear, Autumn skies yesterday and cool, breezy conditions. I agree with Rain's comment above - when I count my blessings, you are one of them. God bless you today dear friend.
Those truly are blessings. It's the little things in life that truly are the most important. I so appreciate your comment on my post today about blogging comments. I seem to have offended quite a few with my remark about lurkers. I don't have a problem with lurkers and I really didn't mean to give anyone that impression. I am so sorry if I offended you. I always appreciate all the visits I get and now, like you, I don't blog just for comments. The friendships are by far the most important thing, plus I love to see all the creativity everyone has, they are always so inspiring. Hugs, Marty
You see to have the essentials for an evening of pleasant solitude. I would have thought you would have included some quiet companionship,-- say, a dog sleeping at your feet.
