Garden Goodness
When the gardens first start coming in I am in heaven. There aren't so many veggies ready that I have to rush to can or freeze them. I can fix some yummy garden meals or I can just relax with a nice fresh tomato sandwich and a glass of mint tea for lunch. Too soon it will be rush, rush, rush, to get all the veggies picked and processed for winter without a minute to enjoy all the yummy fresh flavors. So for now I am going to go slice a tomato and a cucumber, add a little vinaigrette, pepper and sit on the porch, eat, and watch the birds. What a blessing!

you made my mouth water. i love fresh snap beans. :)
Pictures of your veggies look great. Love your blog, BUT, your blog is kinda hard to read, the red on red and smaller type makes it difficult, I am having to highlight text to be able to read it.
Enjoy the rain, it is hot and dry in CA and prediction for tomorrow is 101.
Sorry for the red on red comment, looks like I did not wait for whole page to load, LOL, but would still like a little larger font.
BTW love the puppy pictures, they grow up soooo fast, Bella is 16 months old now, she did not stay a little fuzz ball for long.
Enjoy! We'll be picking peas here soon.

Wow, look at all those scrumptious veggies! Our garden isn't even planted yet except for the potatoes. When you're all done canning and freezing, I'll just be starting to enjoy fresh veggies! lol xoxo
That sounds so wonderful! We moved too late to get a proper garden in this year, and I miss it! Take a moment to enjoy all that hard work you've done. Afresh tomato sandwich sounds heavenly. I think I can almost smell it over here. Yum!
