Around The Homestead

I guess I have to give in and let spring happen. Don't think I will be seeing anymore snow this year.  I sure have enjoyed all the beautiful snow photos some of you have shared. So here are some spring photos for all of you in snowland.

Hi Peggy ~ All the flowers are blooming here too. The trees have buds , the dogwoods are budding too. Yep , I think we're having an early Spring , since we had an early winter. Your yard looks beautiful.

This is lovely Peggy. Are those bluebells or hyacinth. Or maybe neither?
I hope you're enjoying spring in your neighbourhood and I hope all the animals are well.

Oh my Peggy-your flowers are beautiful!! And just what I need to keep thoughts of spring alive! We just got back to Maine after 7 weeks south and we have about 3-4 feet of snow here in the woods still-which is ok-it's the ice on the driveway waiting for me thats scary!! You know its bad when you even slide with ice grippers on your boots! thanks again for sharing!

Lovely pictures! Our snow has pretty much melted now though. My parent's, my sister, my brother, sister-in-law, my niece, and my nephew all enjoyed sunny Florida and warm Florida weather though.

My parent's and I left for Georgia on the 22nd of February and arrived on the 23rd of February then left for Florida on the 24th of February and arrived to our resort on the 25th of February and my sister flew to Orlando on the 25th as well and my brother, sister-in-law, my niece, and my nephew arrived on the 25th as well and their room was across from ours at the resort in Kissimmee, FL

On the 26th we had a family reunion at my Mom's cousin and his wife's house in Melbourne, FL.

Then on the 27th my brother, my sister-in-law, my niece, my nephew, my parent's and myself went to Animal Kingdom at Disney World. This was all of our 1st time to Disney World and Florida, my sister has been there a couple of times.

On the 28th, my parent's, my sister, and myself went to a place called Bok Tower and Gardens in Lake Wales, FL while my brother and his family hit the beach.

On the 1st of March we all went to Magic Kingdom together.

On the 2nd we relaxed at the resort since it was the day my sister was flying back to Ohio but my Mom, myself, my brother and my nephew went to a store and I bought a headband and sandals then went to Publix grocery store to get some garlic bread to go with our spaghetti with vegetarian meatballs for supper.

On the 3rd-my parent's and I left Florida and it was also my Grandma's 89th birthday (my Mom's Mom).

On the 4th we left Florence, KY.

On the 5th we headed for Ohio and got here about 1:30 in the afternoon. Our road was washed out from the flooding we had while we were on vacation.

Hi sis:-) You want snow and I want Spring...wanna switch places? lol There's another snowstorm due to arrive any minute now and in fact I just looked out the window and it's starting to snow. Supposed to be quite nasty. We already got quite the dumping of snow last weekend. Ugh!!

I'm sure I have flowers growing as well...underneath the snow! lol Love you sis. xoxo

Love the taste of spring, I have to admit it makes me just a little jealous. I know that you will enjoy this lovely time of year, looking forward to more of your photos of the goings on at the homestead, especially what the animals are up to! Take care.
