Basil
Meet Basil being held by grandson Harvey. Basil was born to Lil Vicki this afternoon but since Lil Vicki is the spoiled goat of the family she doesn't want anything to do with Basil except let him nurse. We put a sweater on Basil to keep him warm tonight and have already been out to make sure he nursed again before falling asleep. Rosemary and Sage think he should be up playing with them. Soon I hope.

Too cute.... Love the looong ears on the Nubbies, hope he grows into them.
Is that his EAR?! I thought it was his leg at first, twisted around funny, or maybe a weird part of a sweater. My gawd, that's a LOOOONG ear!
What a sweetie. Congratulations! I love the look on your grandson's face, he looks so pleased. What joy there is in new life.
i hope mom becomes more cooperative soon!
Oh My Goodness... Shame on Lil Vicki... Hope she wakes up soon and takes care of her baby... Great photo of Harvey and Basil.
Hugs,
Betsy
