I just can't bring myself to write about Little Lester's last day and his goodbye smile for me. Just wanted you to know Lester passed away yesterday evening peacefully. I never knew I could have my heart wrapped up so much in one tiny little goat. I will be back in a few days with his story. Goodbye my sweet little one.

Oh dear, I'm so sorry about your loss...Lester looks like he was such a cutie...I have tears in my eyes thinking of him and listening to that song...why is it animals can bring such joy and such pain... but Lester I'm sure knew that he was loved...animals can tell...you get some rest Peggy...your such an inspiration to me and I'm sure many...have a great Easter and Spring...if we ever get it...LOL judy

oh peggy, i'mn so so sorry to hear of Lester's passing. i'm involved in senior dog rescue and although i love them all there always seems to be one special one that gets to you. i understand how you feel.
please take comfort in knowing that lester knew love and kindness and special care because of your compassion and committment to him. you were him mommy and without you he wouldnt have lived as long as he did. you are very special.
You're a good steward and I'm sorry Lester has gone on before. I truly believe our beloved animals will greet us in heaven. God loves them too and He loves it when we love them and tend to them with a gentle heart.
