We are gradually downsizing and moving from our homestead in eastern NC to a small cabin in the mountains of western NC. We are excited to continue our homesteading adventures and sharing our lifestyle with our grandchildren. Thank you for visiting my blog. I have changed the blogs I follow from google reader to Feedly. I am actually able to read everyone's blog much more quickly. I love keeping up with each of you. I do not leave comments very often as I just don't have the time. Because of all the blogs I enjoy reading it would take a lot of time to leave comments and I would have to cut back on the blogs I follow to save time. This past fall I posted in Wonderful Blog Neighbors about leaves for Leontien. This sweet,wonderful, kind lady lost her battle to cancer. Blog neighborhood will not be the same
I was also friends with Leontien on Facebook, and was 'notified' one day this past week that it was her birthday. I felt that sadness at her loss all over again. She left much too soon, but truly made a difference, she will not be forgotten.

Peggy, I'm so sad to hear this. I didn't follow her blog but looked at it when you featured her. Her pictures and story were so touching :(
